National Team

The National Team is an invitation-only year-round program whose members commit to training for the entire year with the goal of qualifying and participating in USA Diving Senior and Junior Nationals, and/or AAU Nationals. Costs include monthly coaching fees and an annual Program Fee.

Ages

Any diver 10 years and older is welcome on the National Team. Senior Members are those divers 14 years and older with Junior Members under the age of 14.

When

Senior Members are expected to train a minimum of five sessions per week, with Junior Members a minimum of three sessions per week. All ages in the National Team group train together.

The National Team trains 11 months out of the year, beginning in September until the end of the competitive season in August.

Where

Water practices are held at the Ralph Wright Natatorium on the campus of the University of Louisville.

Dryland practices are held at the LDC Dryalnd facility, approximately 3/4 mile south of the Ralph Wright Natatorium, across from the University of Louisville Football Stadium.

Monday Water - 5:30-8:00pm

Tuesday Water - 5:30-8:00pm

Wednesday Water - 5:30-8:00pm

Thursday Water - 5:30-8:00pm

Friday Dryland - 4:30-6:00pm

Sunday Dryland - 12:00-2:00pm

Extra Costs

National Team members are expected to share the cost of travel and coaching fees at meets. There is a required annual Program Fee for this group that covers the majority of the cost.

AAU Membership

Prior to participating in Louisville Dive Club programming, all divers must first obtain an AAU Membership for the 9/1/2025-8/31/2026 competitive year. This membership must be at the A/B level ($22). Join the AAU!
